燃油泵：燃油泵是间歇式叶片泵，其优点是在较低发动机转速时也可供油。泵体内油道使油泵转子始终处于被燃油浸润的状态，从而可输送燃油。

燃油分配管集成：燃油分配管集成在缸盖内的供油管内，其功能是等量向各泵喷嘴分配燃油，在此，燃油与受热燃油混合，并被泵喷嘴强制流回供油管。使供油管内流向各缸的燃油温度一致。所有泵喷嘴被提供相同量的燃油，使发动机运转平稳。否则，泵喷嘴的油温将会不同，并且泵喷嘴被提供不同质量的燃油。这将会使发动机运转不平稳并将在前几个缸中产生极度高温。

燃油冷却泵：使冷却液在冷却环路中循环。当燃油温度达到70℃，发动机控制单元通过燃油冷却泵继电器将其接通。

在国内很多的乘用车上使用泵喷嘴，如：宝来TDI、途安TDI和奥迪TDI等。泵喷嘴技术相对于之前的技术（如柱塞泵），已经具有明显改进，而其的好处是增加了喷油压力，其涡轮增压泵喷嘴的喷射压力都能达到200MPa以上。由于喷射压力直接影响柴油燃烧做功效率，因此，泵喷嘴的燃烧效率。

共轨技术

        “CRDI”是英文Common Rail Direct Injection的缩写，意为共轨柴油直喷技术，CRDI技术和SDI（自然吸气直接喷射柴油发动机）技术、TDI（直喷式涡轮增压柴油发动机）技术。共轨系统由高压泵、喷油管、高压蓄压器（共轨）、喷油器、电控单元和传感器及执行器组成。

        共轨式喷油系统主要的贡献就是将喷射压力的产生和喷射过程彼此完全分开，通过对共轨管内的油压实现控制，使高压油管压力大小与发动机的转速基本无关。这一柴油发动机技术的限度地降低了柴油发动机车型的振动和噪声，同时将油耗进一步降低，使排放更加清洁。但共轨技术的喷油压力低于泵喷嘴系统，一般只能达到160MPa左右。由于喷油压力调节宽泛，采用共轨技术的柴油车能地适应各种工况，起步也不会困难。

        共轨高压泵总是保持在压力，导致燃油的浪费和的燃油温度。共轨系统为商用车设计的，喷射压力为140MPa，乘用车喷射压力为135MPa。

       共轨系统可根据发动机需求而改变输出压力，并具有预喷射和后喷射功能。带有控制油量的油泵，喷射压力能达到160MPa。即使在压力较低的情况下，该系统也可以根据实际状况提供适量的喷油压力。不仅有助于降低燃油消耗，而且还可以降低燃油温度，从而省去燃油冷却装置。预喷射降低了发动机噪声：在主喷射之前百万分之一秒内少量的燃油被喷进了汽缸压燃，预热燃烧室。预热后的汽缸使主喷射后的压燃更加容易，缸内的压力和温度不再是突然地增加，有利于降低燃烧噪音。在膨胀过程中进行后喷射，产生二次燃烧，将缸内温度增加200～250℃，降低了排气中的碳氢化合物。

        共轨系统带有压电直列式喷油器。共轨系统面世，压电式（piezo）共轨系统的压电执行器代替了电磁阀，于是得到了更加的喷射控制。省去了回油管，在结构上更简单。压力从20～200MPa弹性调节。喷射量可控制在0.5mm3，减小了烟度和NOX的排放。喷射压力达到180MPa。此套采用新研发的压电直列式喷油器的系统使带预喷和后喷的喷油率曲线范围更为自由。
