45Mn17Al3系高合金单相奥氏体低磁锰钢，其钢号为917。隶属低磁钢、弱磁钢，具有塑性好、韧性高、加工硬化倾向大、受热膨胀系数大、电阻率大、热导率低和磁性低等物理特性。在无磁建筑、无磁机械、选矿探矿设备及军事等领域有着广泛的应用。还可以用于制造特殊舰船、码头及消磁设备等用。
45Mn17Al3低磁钢917低磁钢冶炼方式：电炉+炉外精炼或电弧炉+电渣重熔冶炼。
45Mn17Al3 high-alloy austenitic low-magnetic manganese steel, with the steel grade 917, belongs to low-magnetic and weak-magnetic steels. It has excellent plasticity, high toughness, significant tendency for work hardening, large thermal expansion coefficient, high electrical resistivity, low thermal conductivity, and low magnetic properties. It is widely used in non-magnetic buildings, non-magnetic machinery, mineral processing and prospecting equipment, and military fields. It can also be used to manufacture special ships, docks, and degaussing equipment, etc. The smelting method for 45Mn17Al3 low-magnetic steel 917 is: electric furnace + ladle refining or electric arc furnace + electroslag remelting.
45Mn17Al3低磁钢917低磁钢是唯一执行GJB的低磁钢，有低磁钢板标准GJB934-90和低磁型钢标准GJB935-90。
45Mn17Al3低磁钢板917低磁钢板标准由中华人民共和国冶金工业部提出。本标准由《重庆特殊钢厂》、中船总公司七院725所、冶金部情报标准研究总所负责起草。
